Base Salary
$160k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve DoorDash’s foundational cloud infrastructure in AWS and GCP.
- Design and implement cloud networking at scale using Transit Gateway and PrivateLink.
- Automate infrastructure management through Terraform and other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Develop proactive monitoring and alerting for cloud health and service limits.
- Partner with platform teams to provide reusable cloud primitives for self-serve infrastructure.
- Contribute to cloud governance and FinOps initiatives to optimize resource usage.
- Support multi-cloud expansion by developing tooling for new environments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building or operating cloud infrastructure at scale.
- Proficient with Terraform, Infrastructure-as-Code, and automation pipelines.
- Strong technical knowledge of VPC networking and related technologies.
- Experience implementing monitoring and alerting for cloud systems.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code in Go, Python, or similar languages.
- Value solving problems at the platform level to ease the workload for engineers.
