Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain custom web applications, interactive dashboards, financial systems, and process management platforms.
- Develop frontend interfaces using Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, data visualization, and dashboarding plugins.
- Develop backend business logic, application services, AWS API integrations, and database integrations.
- Design and optimize database queries and data access layers using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Produce technical documentation covering workflow logic, UI mockups, and API requirements.
- Integrate custom-built components with enterprise web platforms and commercial off-the-shelf tools.
- Test, debug, and refine applications for reliability and performance in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- Requires 2–4 years of relevant software development experience with a bachelor’s degree in a technical field, equivalent practical experience, or a coding bootcamp certification.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Angular, modern JavaScript frameworks, or Adobe ColdFusion.
- Understanding of relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server, and experience with version control tools such as Git.
- Experience across the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail, prioritization, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a NASA Public Trust or Secret security clearance are required.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS experience, RESTful web services and API integration knowledge, and experience with interactive dashboards and data visualization tools.
