Base Salary
$168k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale backend systems for spend controls and approval workflows.
- Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to enhance user experiences.
- Integrate with Ramp’s AI platform for automated policy enforcement.
- Own complex projects from architecture to deployment and observability.
- Partner with Product Platform and Integrations teams for system reliability.
- Continuously improve transaction and policy infrastructure for performance.
Requirements
- 2+ years of software engineering experience with a backend focus.
- Strong fundamentals in backend systems and API design.
- Experience with Python, Go, or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, AWS, and observability tools.
- Ability to balance technical quality with user value.
- Collaborative communicator thriving in high-ownership environments.
