Responsibilities
- Design and build large-scale distributed applications for AWS infrastructure supply chain automation.
- Solve complex architecture and business problems by developing extensible solutions.
- Write high-quality, modular, functional, and testable code.
- Lead or contribute to architecture and design for reliable, scalable systems.
- Mentor junior engineers on design, coding, and troubleshooting.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with global, cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with one or more software programming languages.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: 5+ years covering the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: Experience delivering complex software systems to customers and leading architecture and design for new and current systems.
