Responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions using Java and open-source technologies.
- Contribute to product architecture, roadmaps, end-to-end delivery, and product releases.
- Build software products for banking and financial institutions in collaboration with R&D teams.
- Improve technology, engineering practices, product quality, and operational efficiency.
- Define and support development, testing, release, update, and support processes.
- Build automated processes and support governance of product teams.
- Mentor team members and reinforce organizational values and culture.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Requires 6-8+ years of overall IT experience in solution design and development.
- Requires a bachelor's or higher engineering degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent additional professional experience.
- Requires hands-on experience delivering Java-based solutions in global organizations.
- Requires experience implementing REST services.
- Requires hands-on experience with Java, Spring, Spring Batch, MongoDB or PostgreSQL, microservices architecture, Redis, Angular, and cloud computing.
- Preferred qualifications include strong data structures and algorithms skills and experience with enterprise-grade components.
- Experience with Git, GitLab, Jenkins, Python, Terraform, Ansible, AWS SDK/CLI, AWS CodeDeploy, and other cloud services is preferred.
- Preferred qualifications include understanding of DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, low-code/no-code platforms, and agile environments.
- Strong communication, collaboration, initiative, and minimal-supervision capabilities are expected.
- Prior banking or finance experience is a plus but not required.
