Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable cloud platform services and APIs.
- Build capabilities for intelligent agents to discover information, invoke tools, execute actions, and orchestrate workflows.
- Own features from design through deployment and production operations.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical reviews.
- Improve service performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Develop reusable frameworks, libraries, and platform components.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and partner engineering teams.
- Investigate production issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Contribute to engineering standards, code quality, testing practices, and operational excellence.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Deep experience building large-scale distributed systems and cloud platforms.
- Strong expertise in software architecture, system design, scalability, resiliency, and performance engineering.
- Extensive experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Experience leading complex technical projects involving multiple engineering teams.
- Strong communication and technical leadership skills.
- Track record of delivering highly reliable production services at scale.
- Preferred: master's degree with 7+ years of experience, or bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience with developer platforms, integration platforms, extensibility ecosystems, AI platforms, agent systems, workflow automation, orchestration frameworks, multi-tenant SaaS systems, Kubernetes, microservices, event-driven architectures, and distributed data platforms.
- Preferred experience driving technology strategy and platform evolution across organizations.
