Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and drive architecture and detailed design for highly scalable distributed systems.
- Develop platforms that simplify the management and monitoring of Edge devices at scale.
- Write maintainable, high-quality production code for large-scale distributed systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project disciplines to deliver solutions from concept through production.
- Mentor and develop engineers across all levels.
- Promote collaboration, trust, inclusion, and data-driven technical practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience designing, developing, deploying, and monitoring cloud services, RESTful services, or distributed systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, or similar cloud computing platforms is preferred.
- Strong computer science background and skills in C#, Java, C, or C++, including debugging.
- Strong design, problem-solving, performance, scalability, security, and reliability skills.
- Deep understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent, in computer science or a related field.
- Strong communication, analytical, collaboration, adaptability, and project-finishing skills.
