Responsibilities
- Design and implement new Apache Airflow features and components.
- Improve Airflow performance, resiliency, developer experience, code quality, test coverage, and test runtime.
- Troubleshoot customer issues and provide solutions.
- Collaborate with team members and other teams in a remote, distributed environment.
- Participate in and steward the Apache Airflow open-source community through Slack, mailing lists, GitHub, conferences, and events.
- Promote knowledge sharing and contribute to high-quality engineering results.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Python developer.
- Strong knowledge of building scalable and distributed systems.
- Experience troubleshooting complex issues.
- Ability to write unit tests and appreciate different forms of automated testing.
- Creative, proactive approach to learning and exploring new ideas.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across written, verbal, and pair-programming channels.
