Base Salary
$135k - $237k/yr
Responsibilities
- Manage solution architecture development at the program level and coordinate architectural changes.
- Evaluate and select technologies and help build proof of concepts.
- Design secure, scalable, and reliable architectures for applications, data, security, infrastructure, and business continuity.
- Advise business stakeholders and translate requirements into software designs.
- Maintain consistent enterprise architecture and a repository of reference architectures.
- Identify frameworks, tools, and libraries that improve engineering productivity.
- Mentor and coach engineering teams in adopting practices and deploying cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of relevant experience.
- Relevant degree preferred; a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus.
- Experience designing infrastructure and applications using PaaS technologies in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience with Pulumi, Terraform, or ARM Templates.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, Bitbucket, or Jira.
- Experience designing secure, scalable, public-facing PaaS applications.
- Hands-on experience with .NET, Java, Python, and Angular or React.
- Experience designing and deploying large-scale data applications using cloud technologies, Azure Data Factory, Python, Spark, SQL, and NoSQL solutions.
- Experience with multi-terabyte data-processing architectures.
- Cloud infrastructure coaching experience is preferred.
