Base Salary
$168k - $221k/yr
Responsibilities
- Present, whiteboard, and write technical guidance for prospects and customers.
- Guide customers through technical evaluations, architectural decisions, application patterns, and platform design.
- Build application prototypes and provide design, development, build, and deployment guidance using Temporal-supported languages.
- Advise customers on production security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations.
- Partner with Account Executives and Platform Architects on account plans, opportunity scoping, technical risk identification, and complex evaluations.
- Help customers successfully adopt and expand production usage of Temporal.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of distributed systems technologies, design principles, and best practices.
- Proficiency in one or more of Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, or PHP.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider and commonly used enterprise application and infrastructure services.
- Ability to serve as a strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives.
- Exceptional technical communication skills, including presenting, whiteboarding, and writing.
- Residence in the United States Central time zone; Chicago, Dallas, or Minneapolis is strongly preferred.
- Ability to travel 25–50%.
