Responsibilities
- Plan and execute end-to-end PLM data migrations using Windchill Bulk Migrator.
- Analyze legacy data, define object mappings, and configure migration templates.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, dry runs, and production loads.
- Monitor migration logs, troubleshoot errors, and ensure pre- and post-migration data integrity.
- Collaborate with functional, infrastructure, Windchill administration, sales pursuit, and delivery teams.
- Prepare documentation, reports, migration status updates, and post-migration support recommendations.
Requirements
- Minimum 7.5 years of experience with PTC Windchill.
- Hands-on expertise configuring and executing PTC Windchill Bulk Migrator.
- In-depth knowledge of the PTC Windchill data model, object types, and business logic.
- Experience migrating data from PLM systems such as Windchill or Teamcenter.
- Proficiency in XML, SQL, and scripting with Python or Java.
- Understanding of CAD data structures including Creo, NX, and SolidWorks, along with EPMDocument migration.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and log analysis skills.
- Familiarity with cloud-to-cloud or on-premises-to-cloud migration environments.
- 15 years of full-time education.
