Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end full-stack features for Help Center, chat, and agent-facing workflows.
- Own APIs, service integrations, and UI flows connecting customer support surfaces with foundational and intelligence capabilities.
- Partner with Product, Design, CX Operations, and engineering teams to create self-serve and assisted-support experiences.
- Use experimentation, instrumentation, and customer metrics to improve containment, resolution quality, customer satisfaction, and escalation rates.
- Integrate AI/ML and vendor capabilities with guardrails, observability, testing, and controlled rollouts.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response, debug production issues, and mentor engineers on full-stack design, testing, and deployment practices.
Requirements
- At least five years of software engineering experience building and operating production full-stack web applications.
- Hands-on proficiency with React or similar modern frontend frameworks, TypeScript, and backend API development in Go.
- Experience designing and shipping customer-facing experiences in partnership with Product and Design.
- Experience with distributed systems and production fundamentals including API design, caching, observability, debugging, incident response, and operational reliability.
- Experience integrating AI/ML or third-party platform capabilities into production applications with guardrails, testing, and rollout discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable product outcomes across cross-functional teams and translate ambiguous problems into shipped solutions.
- Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
