Responsibilities
- Develop responsive, high-quality interfaces using React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Implement product features and collaborate with product managers, designers, and senior engineers on design decisions.
- Contribute to EventMobi’s Progressive Web App and deliver reliable experiences across devices and varying network conditions.
- Work within a shared, large-scale frontend codebase and contribute to architecture and system improvements.
- Balance user experience, performance, and technical constraints.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions and apply feedback to improve code quality.
- Use AI-assisted tools such as Claude and Codex to support debugging, testing, implementation, and productivity.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience building user-facing web applications.
- 2+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
- Strong understanding of modern HTML, CSS, and frontend fundamentals.
- Experience working with APIs and integrating backend services.
- Ability to debug issues and work within existing codebases.
- Familiarity with unit and end-to-end testing.
- Clear written communication skills for an async-first environment.
- Preferred: experience with state management or data-fetching libraries such as React Query, performance optimization, scalable frontend patterns, CI/CD workflows, cloud environments, or mobile and cross-platform development.
