Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, resilient backend systems using Java.
- Own new features through implementation, bug fixing, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA to deliver technical solutions.
- Improve code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and technical documentation.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies for Wallee’s fintech systems.
Requirements
- Strong Java foundation with experience in Spring Boot or Hibernate.
- Experience building distributed systems and scalable, high-availability solutions.
- Ability to write SQL queries and structure data effectively.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI and containerization with Docker or AWS ECS.
- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, plus experience working in fast-paced Agile environments.
- JavaScript, Apache Camel, or BPM engine experience is a bonus.
