Responsibilities
- Build account, KYC, verification, and account-lifecycle flows using Ruby and Go.
- Orchestrate durable Temporal workflows across services.
- Own work end-to-end from ambiguous requirements and written proposals through implementation, monitoring, and production operation.
- Collaborate with product, compliance, and other teams to align on solutions and trade-offs.
- Write unit tests and contribute to integration and end-to-end testing.
- Monitor critical alerts and business metrics and help maintain 99.99% service availability.
- Participate in on-call rotations and investigate production issues.
- Use agentic coding tools to build, debug, investigate, and document software.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of at least one programming language and comfort with API design, caching, and system architecture.
- Experience with Ruby and/or Go is a significant advantage.
- Ability to take ownership of features and projects, navigate ambiguity, propose solutions, and drive agreement.
- Product-oriented, pragmatic problem-solving approach with an emphasis on simplicity and avoiding over-engineering.
- Experience documenting technical decisions through proposals, RFCs, or ADRs.
- Strong understanding of observability and monitoring.
- Fluency with AI tooling and agentic workflows.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Experience in payments, fintech, KYC/AML, or another regulated domain is advantageous.
