Responsibilities
- Build and scale a robust internal advertising platform for Vinted’s Marketplace.
- Collaborate with backend and site reliability engineers on platform development.
- Shape Go engineering standards and contribute through GitHub pull requests and code reviews.
- Develop and deploy new features frequently, with production releases on each main-branch merge.
- Use testing, including performance testing, to investigate bottlenecks and improve system quality.
- Own critical alerts and business metrics to help maintain 99.99% service availability.
- Evaluate and apply practical technical solutions while collaborating with cross-domain teams and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Solid backend engineering skills with expertise in Go or similar programming languages.
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and scaling AdTech solutions.
- Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and concepts quickly.
- Practical decision-making focused on simplicity, long-term stability, and avoiding over-engineering.
- Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, and knowledge-sharing skills.
