Responsibilities
- Design and build a unified global banking platform with high-level APIs and regional implementations.
- Transform monolithic services into decoupled, scalable, region-agnostic global bank services.
- Design, implement, maintain, and improve highly available backend and transfer services.
- Develop and operate microservices using Go, Kotlin, Java, and Elixir on AWS and Kubernetes.
- Improve test coverage and deliver changes end to end, including testing, observability, and monitoring.
- Contribute to engineering culture, technical direction, documentation, best practices, and tool selection.
Requirements
- Solid programming experience with Go and interest in Java, Kotlin, and Elixir.
- Advanced understanding of distributed and event-driven systems.
- Experience with event streaming platforms and messaging brokers such as Kafka.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Comfort working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or ArgoCD.
- Commitment to ownership and writing clear, maintainable, and testable code.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or Honeycomb is a plus.
- Fintech industry experience is a plus.
