Responsibilities
- Build migration and payout flows in Ruby.
- Orchestrate durable Temporal workflows across services.
- Own projects from ambiguous requirements through proposal, alignment, implementation, and production monitoring.
- Write unit tests and contribute to integration and end-to-end testing.
- Own service alerts and business metrics to support 99.99% availability.
- Participate in on-call rotations.
- Use and improve AI-assisted development workflows with Claude Code, Codex, and similar tools.
- Document systems and decisions through proposals, RFCs, and ADRs.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ownership of features and projects from start to finish.
- Ability to break down ambiguous problems, propose solutions with trade-offs, and drive alignment.
- Product-oriented, pragmatic problem-solving approach with attention to simplicity.
- Care for observability, monitoring, and production operations.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Experience with payments, fintech, KYC/AML, or another regulated domain is advantageous.
