Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain production backend services for money movement and European and UK transfer flows.
  • Own well-defined tasks and features while contributing to larger domain projects.
  • Contribute to technical design, implementation, testing, monitoring, observability, and service reliability.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and post-incident reviews.
  • Collaborate with Product, QA, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver transfer and banking capabilities.

Requirements

  • Experience building and supporting backend services in production.
  • Proficiency in Golang and willingness to work with other languages as needed.
  • Comfort with cloud-based systems, containerized workloads, and automated delivery pipelines.
  • Ability to write well-scoped pull requests, conduct code reviews, and maintain code quality and test coverage.
  • Understanding of system architecture, data modeling, and API design.
  • Clear communication and effective collaboration skills.
  • Experience with banking, payments, regulated financial systems, production traffic, or incident response is preferred.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
