Base Salary
$210k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural reviews across multiple teams, establish cross-service patterns, and reduce technical debt.
- Advocate for infrastructure upgrades and develop technical roadmaps that support business velocity and long-term scalability.
- Build thoughtful, scalable, and flexible products and code across the full stack.
- Establish engineering best practices for automated testing, CI/CD, and high-quality code.
- Translate technical and business problems into durable solutions supporting company growth.
- Partner with executive leadership, Product, Marketing, and Clinical stakeholders to identify needs and deliver technical strategies for patients and clinicians.
- Mentor senior and junior engineers and help shape a respectful, curious, and technically excellent engineering culture.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building and scaling complex engineering solutions.
- Proven track record leading large-scale architectural migrations in a startup environment.
- Production experience with Django/DRF and React/Next.js or similar technologies.
- Ability to translate ambiguous product and growth goals into concrete technical roadmaps.
- Versatile experience building consumer-facing products and architecting complex operational and workflow management systems.
- Strong experience using agentic coding tools and LLMs, including Claude Code and GitHub Copilot, with the ability to mentor others on prompting and code-auditing strategies.
