Base Salary
$231k - $314k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and lead engineering projects across Harvey’s product lines.
- Scale document ingestion and processing growing at 10x every six months.
- Design large-scale data collection across more than 50 legal jurisdictions.
- Build highly secure systems for governments and professional firms.
- Lead projects delivering AI experiences across web, desktop, mobile, Google Docs, Microsoft Word, and APIs.
- Build AI-platform and AI-native features including agentic orchestration layers, tool calls, and retrieval systems.
- Develop full-stack experiences with React, TypeScript, Python, and Postgres, including streaming APIs, long-running processes, and complex tool-calling workflows.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience after a BS/MS in product-focused full-stack software engineering.
- Experience with React, TypeScript, CSS, TailwindCSS, Python, or related technologies.
- Track record of building fast-growing SaaS products.
- Track record of shipping highly intuitive products with strong attention to detail.
- Experience building scalable and extensible solutions across the stack for multiple product lines.
- Strong programming skills and general computer science knowledge.
- Early-stage startup experience is a plus.
