Responsibilities
- Develop medium-sized software projects and lead a segment initiative as an individual contributor.
- Build applications, system-to-system interfaces, and complete software solutions using Java/J2EE technologies.
- Design and develop scalable, operable, highly available, distributed, and event-driven systems.
- Perform code development, peer reviews, debugging, and day-to-day application support.
- Create user guides and software development documentation.
- Communicate application, coding, and technical issues effectively.
- Take ownership of technical issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience developing software architecture for large-scale distributed and event-driven systems.
- Strong server development and administration experience.
- Strong experience with Core Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, data stores, and web services.
- Experience with Jenkins, Jenkins Pipelines, and Maven for continuous integration and deployment.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
- Working knowledge of Git and ALM tools such as Rally.
- AngularJS experience is a plus.
- Experience with software development frameworks such as Scrum and SAFe.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Confluence, JIRA, Rally, and Sonar.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, ownership, customer-focus, and collaboration skills.
