Base Salary
$120k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and ship features across multiple surfaces, emphasizing media playback and subscription flows.
- Collaborate with engineers on other platforms to deliver consistent behavior and shared APIs, analytics, entitlements, and UX rules.
- Improve code quality, observability, performance, crash reduction, and release readiness.
- Participate in squad planning, estimation, retrospectives, and occasional technical leadership for focused initiatives.
- Integrate features with the shared design library and token-based UI patterns while identifying gaps with design and platform owners.
- Review code, mentor peers, and improve engineering practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong production experience building and shipping iOS applications using Swift and UIKit and/or SwiftUI.
- Understanding of mobile architecture, networking, state management, and error handling.
- Experience collaborating with product, design, QA, and other cross-functional teams.
- Comfort with fast release cycles, testing, monitoring, incremental rollouts, feature flags, and rollback-friendly delivery.
- Preferred experience with tvOS, Apple TV focus engine and remote interactions, video streaming, subscriptions, analytics instrumentation, shared design systems, Android, Android TV, or Fire TV.
- Preferred experience applying AI tools to engineering tasks such as generating unit tests, documentation, technical debt management, or refactoring, with appropriate code verification guardrails.
