Base Salary
$204k - $285k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create complex, scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design frameworks.
- Develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
- Architect and govern agentic AI-enabled engineering workflows, including AI-driven pull request review, test generation and maintenance, release readiness checks, incident triage, and root-cause acceleration.
- Define guardrails for validation, security, resiliency, auditability, traceability, and reuse across engineering teams.
- Apply software development lifecycle tools and enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities to improve engineering automation at scale.
- Advise cross-functional teams on technology matters and serve as the function’s go-to subject matter expert.
- Create durable, reusable software frameworks leveraged across teams and functions.
- Influence leaders and senior stakeholders across business, product, and technology teams.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 7+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Expertise in one or more programming languages.
- Experience designing and leading adoption of agentic AI-enabled development practices across teams, including human-in-the-loop validation, auditability, traceability, and secure handling of sensitive data.
- Strong understanding of responsible AI use, engineering control expectations, security, resiliency, data sensitivity, and risk-based governance.
- Experience solving complex technology problems in one or more technical disciplines using expertise and new methods.
- Ability to present and communicate effectively with senior leaders and executives.
- Understanding of the business and practical cloud-native experience.
