Responsibilities
- Extend Circle’s in-house blockchain systems infrastructure to support tokenization.
- Build and own scalable microservices and reliable, secure APIs for blockchain and banking protocols.
- Design and develop publicly accessible APIs that simplify integration with complex payment systems.
- Integrate platform services with leading banks and financial technologies.
- Design and deploy production-quality scalable software using SQL or NoSQL data sources, messaging systems, and APIs.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on feature design, system documentation, testing procedures, and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot program and system malfunctions and restore normal system functioning.
- Lead small teams technically on architecture and system design.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional software development experience in object-oriented languages such as Go.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Go web frameworks such as Gin and Fasthttp.
- Familiarity with Go development tools including go mod and golint.
- Broad understanding of RESTful API design and development principles.
- Experience with cloud services including AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with SQL databases and schema design.
- Proven experience designing and deploying production-quality, scalable software.
- Focus on coding standards, code quality, test coverage, and continuous delivery.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work with remote teams and present concepts.
- Fluency in written and verbal English and Mandarin Chinese.
