Base Salary
$138k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality software solutions across multiple technical areas.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts and ensure software code complies with design constraints.
- Develop, debug, and maintain enterprise-scale Python applications and algorithms, including database querying with SQL.
- Use and validate enterprise-authorized AI tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets to create visualizations and reports that support continuous improvement.
- Identify data patterns and hidden problems to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Engage with stakeholders and contribute reusable engineering patterns and learnings to the broader team.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience across system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced Python experience, including Pandas and NumPy, with proficiency in SQL and database querying.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI development tools and the ability to validate and refine their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI engineering practices, including data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as React, JavaScript, and TypeScript is preferred.
- Experience with data mesh technologies such as Databricks, cloud technologies, and banking, finance, or risk domains is preferred.
