Base Salary
$185k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy distributed machine learning systems and large-scale software solutions.
- Drive system architecture and deliver scalable, efficient, and fault-tolerant services.
- Lead strategic technical projects with significant business and customer impact.
- Establish engineering best practices covering software quality, reliability, and scaling.
- Collaborate with applied scientists to influence technical and organizational strategy.
- Mentor junior engineers, coach team members, and provide leadership on complex technical issues.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
