Responsibilities
- Build and enhance platform capabilities for model registries, feature registries, promotion policies, and governance tooling.
- Design services for data preparation, annotation workflows, lineage, and auditability.
- Develop cloud-native microservices and APIs for scalable model delivery and operations.
- Create LLM-powered capabilities using prompt design, agent workflows, tool integration, and retrieval-augmented generation.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts and ensure systems meet performance, resiliency, and security constraints.
- Use approved AI-assisted development tools and validate their outputs through reviews, testing, and secure coding practices.
- Analyze telemetry and user feedback, build reporting and metrics, and improve code health, observability, and platform architecture.
Requirements
- Formal software engineering training or certification and at least three years of applied experience are required.
- Experience with microservices, reactive architectures, event-driven architectures, LLM-powered solutions, prompt design, agent workflows, tool integration, and retrieval-augmented generation is required.
- Experience with at least two modern programming languages or frameworks, RESTful APIs, performance tuning, cloud platforms, containerization or orchestration, and relational and non-relational databases is required.
- Experience with refactoring, design patterns, test-driven development, continuous integration and delivery, application security, and approved AI-assisted software development tools is required.
- Preferred qualifications include HTML, CSS, a modern JavaScript framework, model or data governance, and internal ML delivery or developer experience platforms.
