Responsibilities
- Manage the full runtime ecosystem, including regional GKE clusters, multi-zone node pools, microservices, Pub/Sub integrations, databases, load balancing, networking, logging, monitoring, autoscaling, CI/CD, and Kubernetes governance.
- Create application dashboards and configure alerts for CPU, memory, pod restarts, WebSocket load, and SIP event failures.
- Perform root-cause analysis for production issues.
- Optimize autoscaling for peak campaign loads.
Requirements
- Hold the mandatory Google Professional Cloud Engineer certification.
- Have deep hands-on experience creating and managing regional GKE clusters and multi-zone node pools.
- Have experience with HPA, VPA, Cluster Autoscaler, pod disruption budgets, node upgrades, internal and external load balancers, network policies, service mesh, and ingress using NGINX or Envoy.
- Have experience managing GPU-enabled and CPU-optimized workloads for LLM/STT.
- Have experience securing GKE clusters using IAM, Workload Identity, and RBAC.
