Responsibilities
- Design and evolve Azure cloud platform capabilities, landing zones, shared services, reference architectures, engineering standards, and reusable patterns.
- Lead technical decisions involving cloud architecture, resiliency, security, observability, governance, and operational excellence.
- Drive Infrastructure as Code, platform automation, self-service capabilities, CI/CD, GitOps, and platform engineering solutions.
- Apply Generative AI and automation to engineering workflows, operations, incident response, knowledge management, and developer support.
- Guide cloud migration, modernization, cloud-native transformation, and AI adoption initiatives for application teams.
- Serve as a technical advisor and senior authority while leading governance activities, strategic cloud initiatives, and engineer mentoring.
Requirements
- 10+ years of infrastructure, platform, or cloud engineering experience and 5+ years of hands-on Azure engineering and architecture experience in enterprise environments.
- Experience designing and operating large-scale cloud platforms and leading complex technical initiatives across multiple teams.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation frameworks, modern DevOps practices, CI/CD, Git-based workflows, and platform automation.
- Expertise with Terraform, Kubernetes, container platforms, cloud-native technologies, cloud security, identity, governance, and observability.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Generative AI platforms, AI agents, prompt engineering, AI-assisted development tools, or enterprise AI architectures.
- Preferred qualifications include Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator, or related certifications; AWS and multi-cloud experience; internal developer platform experience; regulated-environment experience; and experience with AI-application infrastructure and governance controls.
