Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize software tools that improve generated RTL quality and accelerate hardware compilation and EDA tools.
- Profile software tools, identify performance bottlenecks, and improve optimization and synthesis cycle speed.
- Collaborate with hardware architects, compiler engineers, and ML researchers to connect high-level representations with optimized RTL.
- Develop scalable automation scripts and software libraries for RTL generation and optimization workflows.
- Work with product engineering teams to bring software tools to production quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, or JavaScript.
- At least 5 years of experience in software development and data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 2 years of hardware design experience.
- Preferred: familiarity with hardware EDA tools.
