Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and frameworks such as Express or NestJS.
- Build responsive, accessible frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
- Integrate third-party services, APIs, and microservices.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Architects, QA Engineers, and UX teams.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code and participate in code reviews.
- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
- Support CI/CD processes and cloud deployments across AWS and Azure.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and delivery activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js and React development.
- Experience developing APIs and microservices.
- Knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and collaborative software development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Preferred experience with NestJS, Express.js, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, automated testing frameworks, performance optimization, SOAP/XML integrations, legacy systems, and travel, retail, or e-commerce platforms.
- Spanish language skills are a preferred qualification.
