Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into solution requirements and success criteria.
- Design end-to-end AI-enabled solutions covering domain models, API contracts, data schemas, decision rules, and policies.
- Drive Spec-Driven Development practices for AI-assisted generation, validation, testing, and documentation.
- Develop and integrate AI-powered tools, agents, and orchestrators that improve software delivery efficiency, quality, and speed.
- Build secure integrations with internal APIs, databases, search platforms, and enterprise services.
- Deliver scalable backend services, APIs, data layers, and frontend capabilities for BMP Retail products and processes.
- Improve AI agents, prompts, specifications, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails.
- Participate in architecture and specification reviews, code reviews, testing, demonstrations, and troubleshooting.
- Contribute to estimation, feasibility assessments, technical decisions, documentation, automation, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong programming expertise in Python, Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript, with experience using AI-assisted development tools and coding agents.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, embeddings, prompt engineering, and AI evaluation methodologies.
- Knowledge of Spec-Driven Development, Contract-First Design, or related approaches using OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, JSON Schema, Protocol Buffers, or policy-as-code frameworks.
- Experience delivering cloud-native solutions in Azure, AWS, or OCI, including containerization and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of software architecture and integration patterns, including API-First Design, Event-Driven Architecture, Hexagonal Architecture, microservices, and Apache Kafka.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, multidisciplinary collaboration experience, agile environment experience, and English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- Preferred qualifications include experience applying Spec-Driven Development to AI-powered systems and agentic architectures, insurance industry knowledge, familiarity with GDPR, DORA, or the EU AI Act, and experience in international distributed software organizations.
