Responsibilities
- Perform functional, integration, regression, UAT, and end-to-end testing for banking and payments applications.
- Validate APIs, payment transactions, and middleware integrations using Postman and Kibana.
- Execute backend data validation with SQL queries and verify transaction data integrity.
- Create and execute test cases based on business and functional requirements.
- Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA.
- Collaborate with business, development, and product teams to support high-quality releases.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of experience in banking and payments testing.
- Experience with Transaction Banking, SWIFT, VAM, Loans, and CASA testing.
- Experience with API testing using Postman and SQL database validation.
- Knowledge of JIRA, Zephyr, Kibana, UAT, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Knowledge of Oracle FLEXCUBE or other core banking platforms.
- MBA, BCOM, or a Bachelor of Engineering qualification.
- Exposure to API automation using Rest Assured is preferred.
- Basic Selenium automation knowledge is preferred.
- ISTQB certification is preferred.
