Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Acropolis Hypervisor features.
- Improve AHV reliability, performance, security, and scalability.
- Lead feature development from concept through market delivery.
- Interact with open-source communities and cross-functional teams including product management, sales, and support.
- Mentor other software engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science or another technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of industry experience or equivalent research experience.
- Strong coding skills in C and Python for enterprise-quality software.
- Extensive knowledge of UNIX/Linux.
- Familiarity with operating-system internals and distributed-systems concepts.
- Familiarity with x86 architecture, virtualization, storage and network management.
- Familiarity with KVM and QEMU is preferred.
- Experience interacting with open-source communities is preferred.
- Rust and Go coding skills are desirable but not required.
