Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead a high-caliber, inclusive team of engineers.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to create user-friendly features.
- Drive improvements in developer workflows and mentor engineers.
- Participate in the full development cycle including design, development, and launch.
- Plan and implement enhancements across Reddit's Android architecture.
- Promote a culture of metrics-led execution and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering for user-facing applications.
- Fluency in product metrics and experience with tools like BigQuery and Firebase.
- Proficient in Kotlin for Android development and familiar with GraphQL.
- Experience with GenAI tools to enhance engineering productivity.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Focus on user experience and usability, with a background in social platforms a plus.
- Self-directed with an entrepreneurial spirit and excellent communication skills.
