Responsibilities
- Support and optimize existing server operations and endpoint engineering operations.
- Design and implement PaaS and serverless solutions to modernize the platform.
- Develop self-service portals and automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with teams to evolve processes and adopt platform engineering practices.
- Champion modernization and guide the transition toward platform engineering.
- Lead technical direction without formal management authority and guide teams toward a platform-first mindset.
- Apply platform product thinking by treating internal teams as customers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in platform, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering.
- Hands-on experience with server operations and endpoint management, including Intune.
- Deep experience with IaaS using Azure and at least one major PaaS or serverless platform.
- Strong automation experience with Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent infrastructure-as-code tooling.
- Proven ability to ship self-service tooling adopted by other developers.
- Strong experience in server operations, endpoint engineering, IaaS, and Release Engineering.
- Experience with internal developer portals.
- Familiarity with FinOps or cloud cost optimization at scale.
