Responsibilities

  • Define automation architecture, testing standards, and end-to-end quality engineering initiatives.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and enhance UI, API, and end-to-end automated test suites and frameworks.
  • Use Playwright with C# for UI and API test automation and perform manual verification when needed.
  • Create and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests using JMeter.
  • Embed quality gates across CI/CD pipelines and support deployment automation.
  • Review code, mentor Development and QA team members, and promote quality practices across the software lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Operations to ensure comprehensive feature coverage.
  • Support product releases and provide third-level production support.
  • Research testing technologies, industry trends, and best practices to improve quality and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 7 years of hands-on experience in software automation testing or software development.
  • Expertise in Playwright, API testing, test case writing, C#, and manual testing.
  • Experience with BDD automation frameworks such as SpecFlow for UI and API testing.
  • Experience authoring and maintaining API and end-to-end automated test suites.
  • Experience testing complex, distributed, cloud-based solutions and executing automation at scale.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and continuous quality practices.
  • Experience contributing to or enhancing in-house automation frameworks, tools, and utilities.
  • Proficiency in C# or another object-oriented programming language.
  • Experience with performance and scalability testing, including JMeter scripting and execution.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot.
  • Ability to define automation architecture, provide code review feedback, mentor teams, and lead quality initiatives independently.
