Responsibilities
- Develop automated tests, scripts, test frameworks, and utilities for software products, platforms, and infrastructure.
- Plan and execute functional, performance, chaos, stability, load, and loss testing across various environments.
- Define quality standards, testing methodologies, quality gates, and risk-based evaluation practices.
- Analyze test results, identify defects and risks, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with product management and development teams on requirements, design reviews, threat modeling, code reviews, and defect resolution.
- Integrate quality assurance practices into CI/CD processes and promote early testing implementation.
- Create and communicate testing insights, dashboard metrics, documentation reviews, and quality recommendations.
- Mentor junior engineers and assist colleagues through code reviews, documentation, and technical guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of related experience, master’s degree plus 3 years of related experience, or PhD plus 0 years of related experience.
- Working and expanded conceptual knowledge of the primary technical job family.
- Proficiency with current technologies and the ability to work independently on complex quality engineering tasks.
- Experience with software testing, automation, test planning, code reviews, quality standards, and risk assessment.
- Ability to collaborate with development and product teams, communicate findings, and provide technical guidance.
