Responsibilities
- Set technical strategy for the team on a year-long time scale.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Define and advocate for technical solutions and operational processes.
- Ensure team operations and availability with proper monitoring and support systems.
- Establish code review and design standards, promoting quality and ownership.
- Provide feedback and guidance to develop talent within the team.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale using Python or Kotlin.
- Extensive experience with highly available distributed systems using AWS, MySQL, Spark, and Kubernetes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Experience delivering major features and writing high-quality, maintainable code.
