Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for smart camera products using C and C++.
- Develop and optimize Linux kernel components, device drivers, and system-level services.
- Collaborate with hardware and algorithm teams to integrate sensors and machine vision features.
- Optimize boot time, power consumption, data throughput, performance, and system stability.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and software development best practices.
- Explore AI-enabled solutions to improve development workflows and product capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in embedded software development.
- Strong proficiency in C and C++ for embedded systems.
- Deep experience with embedded Linux, including kernel and driver development.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver complex software projects from concept through production.
- Preferred qualifications include Android system-level development with AOSP, Yocto Project experience, Agentic AI or advanced AI-powered development tools, NPUs or other AI hardware accelerators, and computer vision, image processing, or camera pipeline knowledge.
- Exceptional candidates who do not meet the experience requirement may be considered if they demonstrate exceptional talent and passion for the field.
