Base Salary
$97k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, develop, and deploy high-performance, secure, and scalable backend applications using Java.
- Analyze complex data, design data structures, and optimize SQL queries for performance.
- Evaluate complex system and business processes and develop solutions for sophisticated, data-intensive software applications.
- Establish and implement application systems that meet business needs and operating standards.
- Advise, coach, and mentor other developers while promoting technical excellence.
- Work with limited direct supervision, exercise independent judgment, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of professional experience with expert-level Java backend development.
- In-depth expertise in data analysis and advanced SQL.
- Experience with systems analysis and programming of sophisticated, data-intensive software applications.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure and adapt to unexpected changes.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, MongoDB, or Couchbase is preferred.
