Guidewire Architect- Configuration
Guidewire SoftwareResponsibilities
- Own the end-to-end technical architecture, design standards, and implementation roadmap for Guidewire PolicyCenter across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid deployments.
- Lead PolicyCenter configuration and customization, including Gosu development, PCF/UI design, data model extensions, underwriting rules, workflows, and plugins.
- Architect and oversee integrations with billing, CRM, data warehouses, external partners, document management systems, and third-party services.
- Provide technical leadership through architecture and code reviews, mentoring, and guidance for cross-functional delivery teams.
- Translate customer and business requirements into scalable architectures and non-functional designs for performance, availability, security, and disaster recovery.
- Use AI and automation to reduce implementation effort and time, support cloud migration, and create repeatable delivery patterns.
- Develop accelerators, reference architectures, technical white papers, and knowledge-sharing programs for Guidewire and partner teams.
Requirements
- 10–18 years of hands-on Guidewire PolicyCenter experience, including at least two greenfield PolicyCenter implementations.
- Guidewire Certified ACE for PolicyCenter Configuration and deep knowledge of PolicyCenter UI, data model, Studio, out-of-the-box features, and accelerators.
- Strong experience with Gosu, PCF, entities, typelists, rules, workflows, plugins, and configuration for personal and commercial lines of business.
- Experience architecting and delivering complex integrations using RESTful APIs, web services, messaging, Apache Camel, Bitbucket, and IntelliJ.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design, performance optimization, security best practices, and non-functional requirements for mission-critical systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and technical explanation skills, with experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to collaborate across time zones and shifts and apply AI and data-driven insights to improve productivity and delivery.
- Preferred experience with Guidewire Cloud, cloud-native patterns, observability, CI/CD practices, cloud or upgrade programs, AI-enabled tools, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, Analytics, Data Platform, microservices, or event-driven architectures.
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
