Responsibilities
- Work with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and design software solutions.
- Design, develop, and release web and mobile applications.
- Develop presentation-layer applications using APIs and microservices architecture.
- Write unit and automation test scripts within a test-driven development lifecycle.
- Contribute to coding best practices, code merges, and software releases.
- Comply with organizational policies and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Typically 5+ years of hands-on object-oriented programming experience.
- Experience with Java or Python and JavaScript UI frameworks such as AngularJS or ReactJS.
- Experience with microservices architecture, end-to-end UI/API integration, and API protocols including REST, gRPC, and GraphQL.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle phases, coding and testing best practices, caching technologies, and DBMS technologies.
- Experience with Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB is required or preferred by the stated technology qualifications.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
