Base Salary
$125k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy software for robotic systems focused on motion planning, perception, and control.
- Design algorithms for path planning, trajectory optimization, and collision avoidance.
- Implement and test sensor fusion, localization, and mapping software.
- Integrate robotic arms, grippers, sensors, and other hardware with robotics software.
- Use ROS 2 middleware for real-time communication and modularity.
- Optimize robotic systems for real-time operation in production environments.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues to ensure robust operation.
- Research and implement state-of-the-art robotics methods, including machine learning techniques for task execution.
- Collaborate with hardware and multidisciplinary engineering teams and teams in Germany to support product scalability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing robotic systems or automation platforms.
- Solid experience with ROS 2, Isaac Sim, and simulation environments.
- Experience with perception systems such as cameras, LiDAR, and depth sensors.
- Proficiency in Python and C++.
- Familiarity with robotic manipulators, vision systems, and motion control systems.
- Knowledge of kinematics, dynamics, and system modeling.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally for up to two months for onboarding.
