Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and implement software solutions aligned with client requirements and organizational standards.
- Optimize existing systems and codebases for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver robust software solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while minimizing operational and user-experience disruption.
- Conduct code reviews and follow industry best practices and secure coding standards.
- Participate in system architecture discussions and recommend enhancements.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Participate in Agile activities including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- Software Engineer II requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, plus 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Software Engineer III requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, plus 5–8+ years of professional software engineering experience and experience leading technical initiatives or feature teams.
- Demonstrate the ability to deliver scalable and efficient software solutions in a team-oriented environment.
- Software Engineer II requires proficiency in Java and JavaScript, experience with React, Angular, Spring Boot, or similar technologies, cloud-platform experience, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Software Engineer III requires experience architecting production-grade applications and RESTful services, backend languages and frameworks, frontend frameworks, relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, software security, cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, microservices, Kafka or RabbitMQ, OpenAPI or Swagger, Redis, Prometheus or Grafana, ELK or Elastic, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger or Zipkin, distributed-systems patterns, and regulated or high-security environments.
- Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
- Excellent written, verbal, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills are required.
