Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance back-office trading applications.
- Implement trunk-based development, feature flags, and progressive delivery strategies.
- Apply automated testing practices to maintain high unit-test coverage, code quality, and production reliability.
- Drive CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, and automated testing.
- Design and deliver distributed, event-driven microservices using Kafka, Solace, Tibco, and MQ.
- Conduct code reviews and vulnerability assessments while enforcing secure coding and organizational security policies.
- Collaborate on scalable, resilient system architectures and technical design documentation.
- Partner with DevOps teams on deployment pipelines, observability, and production resilience.
- Mentor junior engineers, lead technical discussions, and promote engineering excellence.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on coding proficiency in Kotlin, Java, and Python with experience building production-grade enterprise applications.
- Deep expertise in microservices architecture, system design, Spring Boot, distributed systems, high availability, fault tolerance, and low-latency computing.
- Proficiency with Kafka, Solace, Tibco, and MQ, including experience designing and operating high-throughput data pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift.
- Experience with relational databases, particularly Oracle SQL, in high-performance transactional environments.
- Experience with trunk-based development, feature flags, progressive delivery, CI/CD pipeline design, DevOps principles, secure coding, and vulnerability assessment.
- Strong command of automated testing practices and experience maintaining high test coverage.
- Experience conducting code reviews, leading technical discussions, and mentoring engineers in cross-functional product teams.
- Familiarity with performance tuning, observability, and production monitoring in distributed, high-availability financial systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience required; master’s degree preferred.

- Base salary range is $142,320.00–$213,480.00, with potential eligible incentive and retention awards.
