Responsibilities
- Design and deliver highly performant, reliable, intuitive AI agents for production use.
- Own the full Agent Development Life Cycle from pilot through deployment and continuous iteration.
- Build, tune, and evolve AI agents that address customer and business needs at enterprise scale.
- Work directly with enterprise leaders and startups to understand challenges and embed AI agents across their businesses.
- Develop generalizable agent frameworks, self-service capabilities, new agent architectures, and generative agent features.
- Experiment with voice models and integrate them into enterprise-grade customer solutions.
- Use customer feedback to prototype platform tools and shape Sierra’s product with research, product, and platform teams.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing and ambiguous environments.
- A builder and tinkerer mindset with high agency and the ability to overcome obstacles and ship.
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems.
- Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production.
- Preferred experience as a founder or founding engineer.
- Familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
- Prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go is preferred.
- Previous customer-facing experience or experience leading technical projects with external stakeholders is preferred.
