Responsibilities
- Develop AI agents and agentic experiences that take actions for customer organizations.
- Design prompts, reasoning, tool calls, and integrations with customer systems using Agentforce and current LLM techniques.
- Own technical components from architecture through deployment, validation, and production observability.
- Build and integrate data pipelines using Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms.
- Contribute to proofs of concept and MVPs that move rapidly from concept to deployment.
- Surface platform gaps, edge cases, and field insights to senior builders and the Agentforce product team.
- Translate customer business challenges into deployable agentic solutions with the Strategic Builder.
- Work directly with customers and travel approximately 25% of the time.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience and at least one production system experience.
- Fluency in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams and customer architects.
- Ability to ship quality code and evaluate AI outputs with engineering rigor.
- Preferred qualifications include Salesforce platform experience or certifications such as Administrator, Platform Developer I, or Agentforce Specialist.
- Preferred familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, orchestration patterns, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, and customer-facing technical delivery.
