Responsibilities
- Build production applications with Claude models within customer systems and ensure they meet customer requirements.
- Deliver production technical artifacts such as MCP servers, sub-agents, and agent skills.
- Provide white-glove deployment support for Anthropic products in enterprise environments.
- Identify repeatable deployment patterns and share insights with Product and Engineering teams.
- Maintain knowledge of LLM capabilities, implementation patterns, and AI product development stacks.
- Build long-term customer relationships and identify additional AI deployment opportunities throughout engagements.
- Travel 25–50% to customer sites for in-person collaboration.
- Represent and champion Anthropic’s mission in customer environments.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as Forward Deployed Engineer, or as a Software Engineer with consulting or product experience; technical founders are also encouraged to apply.
- Production experience with LLMs, including advanced prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience shipping production applications.
- Experience with TypeScript, Java, or another additional programming language is preferred.
- Ability to operate with high agency and navigate ambiguity in complex organizations.
- Strong cross-organizational collaboration and communication skills, including customer discovery and explaining technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Passion for advancing safe and beneficial AI systems through creative technical applications.
- Background in financial services, healthcare/life sciences, or another enterprise vertical is a plus.
- Experience with enterprise IT systems or AI deployment patterns is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
Benefits
- Annual base salary range of £225,000–£255,000 GBP.

- Staff are generally expected to work from an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time, with some roles requiring more office time.
